Our little tattoo shop is in the Old City Quarter of Nanaimo, BC. The studio is a collective of some of the best tattoo artists on the island, each is happy to work with the customer to give them the custom piece they are looking for. We not only strive to create a safe and inclusive environment, but Electric Umbrella is also a space where you can be yourself, free from judgment, and where your ideas are celebrated and brought to life.

But it's not all serious business at Electric Umbrella. We take our art very seriously, but we also believe in the power of a good times and mad jokes.

Electric Umbrella was established in 2011 by Russ Morland and is now under the skillful ownership and guidance of Julie Dives.
